In the best way possible, this album is ( ͜。 ͡ʖ ͜。) spɹɐʍʞɔɐᙠ ⭯. There's enough funkiness in this album to keep people happy, but enough metal to keep people engaged. This album is like a cup of coffee that has just enough cream to take the edge off. The coffee is Mastodon and the cream is Tool. Stir gently and subtract a few decades of experience and this album is the cup of coffee you are drinking from. This is a great album in its own right. I don't say that just cuz these guys are young.

This a fantastic album for scaring the hell out of non metal heads (pun intended). This was the first deathcore album I heard and it's still the heaviest and still my favorite. God bless I hope this band gets the attention it deserves.
